NEW WAYS TO PRAY!   We have been doing a lot of praying in new ways this year.  Consider joining us or making use of any, or all, of the opportunities below –

  • Sweet Hour of Prayer every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with seven of us regularly gathering.
  • Using our new Prayer Cards on the first Sunday during prayers of the people.
  • Turning the altar in the Chapel into our Prayer Altar, covered with new prayer requests.
  • The Vestry is incorporating praying together into our Strategic Plan and into Vestry meetings.
  • And the latest: Gathering an intercessor team to pray for people in-person after church on Sundays. Once the crowd has left the Nave, they'd be happy to meet with you discreetly one-on-one to pray with you.

LEARNING

ST. PETER’S 101 Begins April 14, 2024, at 11:00 am.  We offer our “Path In” to the life of St Peter’s on Sunday mornings in the library.  If you are new here at St Peter’s, you know that starting new is hard to do.  Do you have questions about living as a Christian or the distinctive way we do it here at St. Peter’s?  For four weeks we will help you explore what we are about here at St Peter’s and how we live and work together as a congregation.

Topics:  What’s the Big Story?  Where have we come from?  Where are we headed?  How to make St Peter’s my home?

ADULT FORMATION: FIGHT FOR SOULS – Share a meal, share the gospel. – We are always told to avoid talking about religion and politics with others however, the bible asks us to share the good news of Jesus. What a challenge! If you desire to do what Jesus says, consider joining the Fight for Souls group! Judy Novak leads the group. It meets monthly on the second Sunday of the month at 5 p.m.  The next meeting will be April 14 at the Novak’s home. Discover how discipleship is changing lives in Loudoun County.

Now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Fellows Programs

Since 1999, the Fellows program has helped transform the lives of more than five thousand people and has been commended by pastors for the dynamic impact it has had on their church.

Do you desire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and other believers?
Do you want to experience the power of a transformed life?
Howard Hendricks, wrote “When a person makes a confession of faith and is never taken through a formal discipleship process, there is little hope of seeing genuine spiritual transformation.” The Fellows Program is designed to give you a foundation for ongoing spiritual growth. Gail Thompson, a Christian counselor and Fellows Program alumna, calls it “the single most effective resource I’ve experienced in my 34 years of ministry.”

Please prayerfully consider joining us for this exciting next step in your journey with Christ. Applications are now being accepted for Loudoun County.  https://www.cslewisinstitute.org/fellows-program/.  Deadline is April 15
