NEW Adult Formation Class Begins February 18th: Creation Care led by Michael Whitnah. We’re going to be looking at how we care for Creation in a new Adult Formation class starting on February 18th. This class is not about climate change or “going green.” Instead, it’s about telling God’s story from a perspective that includes all of Creation. As we tell that story, we’ll consider just how it is that we humans fit into that Creation. What’s our job? How have we done at that job? What’s God’s ultimate plan? The answers may surprise you.

MEET TASS & KAREN SAADA: St. Peter’s welcomes Tass Saada as a guest on Sunday, February 11, 12:15pm in McCray Hall. He will share his incredible life story, what he sees God doing in the Middle East, & answer your questions. Taysir (“Tass”) Saada was born in Gaza and reared in Saudi Arabia and Qatar before running away from home at the age of 17 to join Fatah in the late 1960’s, becoming a PLO sniper and then a chauffeur for Yasser Arafat. He later moved to the United States, married a girl (Karen, above) from Kansas City, Kansas, and became a successful restauranteur. In 1993, Tass experienced a powerful conversion to Christianity, and now has a love for the Jewish People he had hated so strongly in his youth. Today, Tass and his wife, Karen, run Seeds of Hope, Inc, which is a humanitarian organization that operates in Jericho and Jerusalem and aims to facilitate Israeli-Palestinian understanding. Tass is the author of two books, Once an Arafat Man: The True Story of How a PLO Sniper Found a New Life, and The Mind of Terror: A Former Muslim Sniper Explores What Motivates ISIS and Other Extremist Groups (and how best to respond).
