E-Giving: St. Peter’s offers a convenient way to make your regular offerings. With our electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions. It’s convenient for you and provides much-needed consistency for our church. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. Even when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, our church will continue to receive your contributions on an uninterrupted basis. Christian Formation Classes for All Ages                               Sundays, 9:30-10:15am

  • Elementary Sunday School meets 9:30am in classrooms downstairs
  • Middle Sunday School meets 9:30am in the Youth Room (upstairs)
  • High Sunday School meets 9:30am in the Library (upstairs)

ADULT FORMATION CLASS: A Roadmap to the Old Testament. Want to have the tools to bring greater understanding to your reading of the Old Testament? We’ll discuss specific portions of the Old Testament and how they fit into the bigger story of what God has done! Sundays, 9:30am, in McCray Hall – Taught by Jon Corbett

GOD IS A GARDENER: We’re going to be looking at how we care for Creation in a new Adult Formation class starting on February 18th. Led by seminarian, Michael Whitnah. (See more in the February Good News newsletter.)

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - June 25-29, 2018. We are in need of volunteers! Teachers, Aides, Craft Organizers and Kitchen helpers. No Experience Necessary, just a loving heart and a desire to have an amazing week! Please contact Kathleen Voss for more information or to volunteer.

  • Lectors read the scripture during a service & Intercessors lead the Prayers of the People during a service. Training is provided.

YOUTH SNOW TUBING: We'll be driving up to Whitetail Resort for about 2 hours of tubing & stopping for pizza on our way back. Meet at St. Pete’s Saturday, Feb. 10, at 1pm and we’ll return about 7:30pm. Cost: $30 per person + money for dinner ($10-15). Contact: Jon Coate

ST. PETER’S WELCOMES TASS SAADA Sunday, February 11, 12:15pm in McCray Hall. He will share his incredible life story, what he sees God doing in the Middle East, answer your questions.

SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE DINNER & MARDI GRAS PARTY! St. Peter’s Acolytes invite you to join them for a pancake dinner with all the fixings on Tuesday, February 13 at 6:00pm in McCray Hall. Games, music, dancing, a parade, the crowning of the King and Queen of the day, and the Burning of the Palms in preparation for Ash Wednesday. This is a free will offering fundraiser for the Acolytes – so please come prepared for FUN and FOOD and with a generous heart as we say goodbye to the season of Epiphany.  Masquerade costumes welcome and encouraged!

ASH WEDNESDAY Holy Eucharist & Imposition of Ashes: February 14, 7am, Noon, 7pm.

TOL FOOD PANTRY –  Thank you for your generous contribution of 150+ lbs in December. Items especially needed: jelly, peanut butter, cereal, baked beans, canned meats, & soup.
